Billionaire businesswoman, Folorunso Alakija allegedly separates from husband after 30years of marriage

Sounds of emotional damage are filtering into the air from the home of the Nigerian female multi-billionaire, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija.

Emerging strong signals indicate that the over 30 years of marriage and conjugal bliss of the former society matriarch, now a Minister of the Gospel, is slowly heading for a crash at the twilight of the consummated marriage.

Sources revealed that the rich and powerful mother of four, former fashion designer and founder of FAMFA Oil Limited, an Oil and gas exploration business has separated from her once upon heartthrob, Mr. Modupe, a successful businessman in his own right.

Close family sources hinted that the marriage has been experiencing frequent altercations and bad blood, forcing the husband, Modupe to seek an alternative accommodation and moved out of their palatial matrimonial home in their highbrow Ikoyi, Lagos home and presently lives alone within the same Ikoyi vicinity.

It was further gathered that the frequent disputes allegedly informed the multi-billionaire woman’s request to have utmost privacy in her home.

Also, the family sources revealed that the marriage has obviously lost some verve and no longer as smooth as it used to be for the couple for some few years now.

One of the insiders said it was regrettable that both husband and wife have allegedly been forced to put up some smiles in the public and a united front as a result of their status in the society but, from every indication, the centre can no longer hold for them.
