Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye has responded to her senior colleague Toyin Abraham’s recent statements regarding her accomplishments at an event.
It was previously reported that Toyin Abraham, a Nollywood actress and producer, held the premiere of her film Alakada: Bad And Boujee in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 15.
The volume of endearing images and videos that surfaced on social media after the event demonstrated how memorable it was. The star’s emotional collapse into tears and her senior colleague Muyiwa Ademola’s consolation were among the film presentation’s highlights.
The scene in which Toyin Abraham told the audience that one of the actors, Bimbo Ademoye, had just bought a big house and the newest Mercedes Benz was another highlight.
This statement garnered backlash from fans and some fellow actors, who questioned the actress for revealing the achievements on Ademoye’s behalf.
In a light hearted post, Bimbo Ademoye while reacting to the now viral claim, stated that Toyin Abraham wasn’t being truthful with her comments. She teased and blamed her movie character ‘Yetunde Animashun’ as being the culprit. Bimbo Ademoye wrote:
“Yetunde Animashaun paro ku. 😂🤣🤣 she even dropped one lie last night at the premiere of #AlakadaBadandBoujee. House and car whereeeeeee, wey I never chop belleful. 😂🤣🤣🤣.”
