Ex BBNaija Season 3 housemate, Rico Swavey succumbs to cold hands of death hours after colleagues launched fundraising

Reports reaching NewsClick Nigeria has that a former BBNaija Housemate, Patrick Fakoya (aka Rico Swavey) has died.

Rico Swavey lost his life hours after he was involved in a ghastly motor accident.

Newsclick Nigeria reports that the actor and musician had been on life support machine since the accident happened on Tuesday.

Confirming his death, one of his colleagues during the Season 3, ‘Double Wahala’ episode of the show,  Alex Asogwa (aka Alex Unusual) wrote on Twitter, “This is not what we agreed Rico. Rest in peace.”

Another former Season 3 ‘Double Wahala’ housemate, Tobi Bakre also confirmed the sad news.

Sharing a photo of himself and Rico, Bakre wrote, “This is how I will remember you brother.”

Meanwhile, a statement on Rico Swavey’s Twitter page had earlier called for prayers as well as donations to sort his medical bills.

”Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support.

”While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers,” a statement by his management team had said.
