Bukky Wright: How Nigerian screen goddess bagged Master’s Degree, became Information Security Auditor in United States

Nigerian screen diva, Oluwabukola Sekinat Ajoke Wright popularly called Bukky Wright is a woman of many parts. 

Born 31 March 1967, Wright rightly qualifies as a businesswoman, politician and now an Information Security Auditor in the United States of America.

Prior to this she attended the University of Lagos, and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Bukky began her acting career in 1996. She has featured in several Nollywood movies of Yoruba and English languages, including Wale Adenuga’s Television series Super story.

In 2014, Bukky Wright contested for the post of a Honourable in Ogun State House of Assembly under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) led by former Governor Olusegun Osoba.

Bukky Wright is married, and she has two sons, Eniola and Gbenga. She recently became a grandmother when one of her sons had a child.
Relocation abroad and journey to corporate world 
The veteran actress in May 2018 relocated to the United States of America (USA). The 55-year-old had since rounded up her Masters Degree programme.
She later became senior Infomation Technology (IT) auditor in Richmond, Texas, United States. Around 2021, Wright revealed that she relocated to United States of America so as to go back to school to do her Masters and to also keep an eye on her two sons who are abroad too.
Even though she still finds time to appear in movies once in a while, she earns her daily living working in the corporate sector in America, Texas specifically.
