The children of late Afrobeat originator, Fela Anikulapo Kuti and others remember the legend, who died 21 years ago, on Thursday.
Femi, Yeni and Seun Kuti shared photos of the late Fela on their Instagram handles with different handles.
Seun Kuti shared a photo of the late Fela performing with one arm in a sling and his head bandaged and captioned it; “Thanks for all the sacrifices Baba Mi. 21 years on and I am on playing my part. Rest in power. ✊?¬ワハ?¬ワハ?¬ワハ? Do it for the blood that was spilt. For all the pain endured. I love you men!!”
Fela’s eldest daughter, Yeni captioned her photos; “This day 21 years ago, we lost our father. A father to all! Continue to Rest In Peace Fela! Sun Re!”

Even though, its been 21 years since his death, his influence is still felt in the music industry with quite a number of artistes getting inspiration from his work.
The political situation in the country also makes a lot of Nigerians remember his socially conscious songs that attacked the then military governments of the nation.
