Chioma Chijioke welcomes baby boy, two years after husband’s death

The Nigerian actress Chioma Chijioke gave birth to a boy almost two years after her husband passed away.

In February 2023, the Nollywood director and filmmaker Kingsley Anosike passed away. After collapsing on a football pitch in Kuwait, Anosike passed away.

Chijioke shared the news of her pregnancy on Instagram on Monday night.

The actress thanked God for her little bundle of joy and posted prenatal pictures.

“My victorious son has arrived, my prayer answered. 11/11/2024. Thank you Jesus, Thank you mother Mary,” she wrote.

The identity of Chijioke’s new partner, was however, not revealed.

Her colleagues and fans have congratulated her on the new addition to her family, wishing her all the best as a new mother.

The actress had previously shared emotional posts during her mourning period, including photos of herself going bald.

She had described her late husband as her “most precious possession”.

“Death you’re indeed a thief! In a twinkle of an eye you stole from me one of my most precious possessions and I can’t even fight you,” she wrote.

“Saying my heart is broken is an understatement compared to how I’m feeling, there’s this hole in my heart that has refused to be filled.”
