Nigerian film actress, Tonto Dikeh recently took to her account on Instagram to provide thought-provoking reflections regarding people aged 30 and above.
She disclosed in her post on the photo-and video-sharing website that after a person reaches 30, they are no longer able to openly claim to be from a low-income family.
According to Tonto Dikeh, a person’s claim to come from a low-income family officially ceases at the age of thirty.
She continued by reiterating the idea that a person inevitably assumes the role of someone from a disadvantaged background once they become thirty.
Tonto Dikeh wrote:
“‘I am from a poor background’ ends at 30, after that you are the background.”
Concurrently, a Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday set April 9 for the crossdresser Bobrisky, Tonto Dikeh’s former best friend, to be sentenced.
The contentious transvestite was found guilty of misusing Naira.
After the defendant entered a guilty plea to the charge brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), trial judge Justice Abimbola Awogboro found him guilty.
The convict was ordered to be held in the custody of the EFCC, and the court postponed sentencing until April 9.
Bobrisky was scheduled on Friday, even though the EFCC had filed a six-count charge against him on Thursday.
The allegation states that money laundering counts five and six, while suspected tampering with Naira notes counts one to four borders.
When the case was called, the prosecutor, Mr. Suleiman Suleiman told the court that following a discussion, the defendant had agreed to plead guilty to the charge.
He made an oral application for counts five and six to be struck out, leaving counts one to four. The court consequently struck out counts five and six.
When the remaining counts were read to the defendant, Bobrisky pleaded guilty to them.
