Wiz Khalifa, an American rapper, shares his thoughts on how long dating should last before marriage.
Wiz Khalifa recommended that couples date for ten years or more before getting married in a recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast.
He claims that a ten-year courtship enables people to learn more about one another, their families, and the complexities involved in cohabitation.
Wiz Khalifa thinks that this extended time spent getting to know one another can give couples thinking about getting married important information.
Wiz said:
“People should date for 10 years before getting married because that’s long enough to know the person, their family, and who you’re going to deal with when you move in together.”
When asked about the merits of cohabitation before or after marriage, Wiz Khalifa stated that every situation is different and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
He emphasized the importance of figuring things out as a couple, regardless of whether that happened before or after marriage.
“It depends on the situation and the circumstances. Some people move in right away and still need time to figure it out”, he stated.
