Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has offered a heartfelt parenting advice, emphasising the value of developing an intimate connection and relationship with kids.
The actress encouraged parents to stop enforcing tight rules and instead concentrate on building relationships with their children in a recent Instagram post that included a heartwarming video of herself having fun playing with her daughter, Ifeoluwa.
According to Biodun Okeowo:
“Parenting goes beyond rule-taking.
Please create time to connect, laugh, play, and bond with your kids. Be their safe space, their friend, and their biggest cheerleader. Moments like these shape their world.”
Encouraging her followers to try similar bonding activities, she added, “Try this as you watch, too, and comment in truth if you got it right.”
Recall that, last year, Biodun Okeowo married her lover in a private legal ceremony.
The actress announced the news on her Instagram page, including lovely images from the momentous day.
Notably, the ceremony coincided with Omoborty’s birthday, making the occasion much more meaningful for her.
Omoborty reflected on how important her wedding is to her, expressing her gratitude and optimism for the future.
She described the union as her first and, hopefully, her last, seeking God’s blessings for their journey together.
“In the euphoria of my birthday, I’m thrilled to share the memories from one of the most beautiful days of my life. The day I legally said ‘yes’ to the man of my heart before God and man,” she wrote.
“All protocols duly and completely observed—traditionally, officially, and legally. Feel free to call me Mrs. Biodun Sofuyi Olabiyi.
“My first wedding, and by God’s grace, the last. Amen”.
