The Afrobeats musician Davido has invited former Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) chief Amaju Pinnick to his wedding.
Davido has previously disclosed that on June 25, he and Chioma would get married in Lagos.
Julie, Pinnick’s wife, recently shared a video of Davido approaching the former NFF chairman to give him the invitation card on TikTok.
Along with Chioma, the Afrobeats artist also snapped a group photo with Pinnick’s family.
Julie also wished the couple “a beautiful future together forever”.
“Let love lead Wishing Chioma and David a 30 beautiful future together forever,” she wrote in the caption.
“David and Chioma came to our home to personally invite my family to their marriage ceremony. I was thrilled to meet Chioma for the first time; she is such a beautiful girl.”
Davido and Pinnick’s months-long legal battle was recently settled.
The conflict arose in October 2023 when Pinnick sued Davido and his record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) at the Effurun, Delta, high court.
Davido was sued for allegedly breaking a contract after he did not show up for the 19th “Warri Again” event, even though he had been paid the money he had requested.
According to Pinnick, the “Timeless” hitmaker was paid $94,600 to play at the function.
He added that the singer’s transportation to Warri by chartered aircraft came at an additional expense to the state of $18,000.
The musician responded by taunting Pinnick, which led to a N2.3 billion lawsuit being filed against him.
Pinnick asked the court in the lawsuit for N150 million in legal and professional fees as well as an extra N30 million for filling costs.
But in March, the parties decided to resolve the dispute outside of court, and the Delta High Court approved their request.
