Afrobeats singer Balogun Ayodeji popularly known as Wizkid has revived his long-running feud with colleague, Davido, causing a heated debate among fans on social media.
Tuesday marked the beginning of the drama when Davido revealed his 2024 debut single. The artist disclosed that the song, which honours Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, will be a blockbuster.
However, the ‘Ojuelegba’ hitmaker, who seemed unimpressed, took to his X page to write: “P***y boys dropping mid again,” adding, “Una don tire! Make una go rest small! ”.

Although he did not mention the name of his colleague, fans interpreted the tweet as a direct shot at Davido.
A fan of Davido, however, fired back, accusing Wizkid of chasing clout using the name of the ‘Available’ hitmaker.
The user wrote: “So if you no beef @davido your song won’t sell??” Responding, Wizkid said: “I don’t beef wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent! ”

It was clear from Wizkid’s reply and subsequent tweets that Davido was the target of his messages.

Still unsatisfied, Wizkid dismissed Davido’s extensive discography as “trash,” arguing that his catalogue boasts superior songs.
He continued: “80 trash ! We got 80 albums for any song y’all drop! P***y boys! .”
Davido, who is also active on social media, appeared to have ignored Wizkid, with the former failing to respond to the latter’s tweets.
