Nigerian Afro-Pop singer, David Adeleke Davido’s 2019 hit, ‘Blow my mind,’ featuring American R&B singer Chris Brown has crossed the 40 million mark on YouTube.
The singer who is currently promoting his recently released music video, ‘D&G’ featuring Summer Walker, released ‘Blow Your Mind’ on July 26, 2019.
The hit song is the fourth single from Davido’s album A Good Time. Davido co-wrote the song with WurlD but featured Chris Brown and produced by Shizzi.
The song received good success in African countries, with the video of the song achieving the record of major views on YouTube in the first 24 hours for a Nigerian artist. The song incorporates tribal sounds of African music.
‘Blow my mind’ joins a list of Davido’s hit songs that have done tens of million streams on YouTube.
With 46 million streams, ‘Blow my mind’ joins ‘Gobe’ with 35 million streams, ‘Aye’ with 59 million streams, ‘Assurance’ with 56 million streams, ‘Fia’ with 74 million streams and ‘If’ with 167 million streams.
