Famous Nigerian musician D’banj, who is celebrating 20 years in the industry, has sent Olamide, a fellow musician, his sincere gratitude for his contribution to his most recent song, “Koko.”

D’banj, real name Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, asked followers to consider the meaning of the term “Koko” from 2004 to the present in a heartfelt Instagram post that included a video of him and pals dancing to the catchy song.

The song, which will be featured on D’banj’s upcoming album, is particularly meaningful because it was written by none other than the well-known YBNL leader, Olamide.

In an Instagram post, D’banj lavished Olamide with gratitude for giving him what he called “an amazing jam.”

Addressing his fans, D’banj posed the question;

“What does the Koko mean to you Since’04 and right now in 2024?” This query not only encourages nostalgia for longtime fans but also sparks curiosity among newer audiences about the evolution of the term over the years.

The collaboration between D’banj and Olamide has elicited enthusiastic responses from fans, who flooded the comments section with their thoughts.
