Popular broadcast personality Daddy Freeze has addressed ladies who have high standards for their relationships on social media.

Daddy Freeze posted a video on his Instagram page dedicated to women who hold men to higher standards.

He asked these women if they had the qualities they look for in a man.

Although he acknowledged that it’s acceptable to have expectations of possible partners, he advised women to cease being unduly picky about men.

Men like Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, who got married while impoverished but later became well-known, were referenced by Daddy Freeze.

He advised women to consider being part of a man’s journey and help him improve rather than waiting for already successful men.

He captioned the video:

“Dear Sisterhood Stop Being Too Hard On The Brotherhood. What Your Fathers And Brothers Couldn’t Give Women You Want Men To Give You, No Be Juju Be That?”

In another story, Daddy Freeze encouraged Nigerian women to consider their husbands as their “heads” and not their partners.

In contrast to Western traditions, which view the husband as a partner, African, Middle Eastern, Christian, and Islamic traditions view the husband as the leader of the family.

Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram account, the OAP said,

“Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, and Efik traditions as well as Christian and Islamic traditions, all say the man is the head of the house. In the Western world, your husband is your partner.

“Your husband is not supposed to be your partner, he is your head.”

He, however, advised women to be careful who them “submit your headship to.”
