Prominent Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, has revealed that renowned music producer Don Jazzy was the generous donor responsible for the N100 million contribution to his Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

VDM announced the news on October 17 via his verified Instagram account, expressing his surprise and profound gratitude for the donation.

Previously, VeryDarkMan expressed concerns after receiving the anonymous N100 million donation, which raised his NGO’s account balance to N170 million.

In an earlier post, he appealed to Nigerians and Zenith Bank for assistance in identifying the donor, emphasizing that he had no connection to any fraudulent activities and was unaware of the contributor’s identity.

Despite reaching out to multiple individuals, no one initially stepped forward. However, VDM later disclosed that Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, personally contacted him to confirm that he was the source of the generous donation.

The message read, “Morning bro. Just saw your post. Na me send 100m to support. I believe in what you are doing and trust you to be as transparent as you have always been. We really need that in our country. I wish you all the best with the project and more blessings to you. E no easy.”

Still in disbelief, VeryDarkMan shared a video where he displayed the message and the receipt of the transaction.

He expressed profound gratitude for Don Jazzy’s generosity, highlighting that he never anticipated receiving such a significant amount from the music mogul.

VDM explained that the NGO was created to assist children in public primary schools who do not have access to quality teachers.
