Don’t ask me for money just because I’m rich – Tiwa Savage

Popular Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has expressed her displeasure on social media about those who keep pleading with her for money.

The “Somebody’s Son” coroner discussed the value of independence and the ubiquitous culture of begging in a series of posts she posted on her Instagram story.

Tiwa Savage asserted her hard-earned success and said that her money did not give others the right to feel entitled to constant requests for financial assistance from her.

She underlined that hard effort is the foundation of riches and urged everyone to pursue their own success rather than relying on the goodwill of others.

In her Instagram story, Tiwa Savage wrote;

“2024 I’m working on improving myself rather than proving myself. Read that again. Iyalaya anybody. I’m rich bit$h. But [that] no mean say all y’all leeches should ask me for money o. We all gat the same 24 hours in a day. GO HUSTLE.

In a related story, a young guy going by the name Tope Olajide has generated a lot of attention online after he demanded a whooshing $320k for a fancy timepiece in a direct message to well-known Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage.

The event happened when Olajide contacted the singer with a bold request after presumably being inspired by Tiwa Savage’s recent Instagram story in which she revealed her financial situation.

Olajide greeted Tiwa Savage and prayed for her in his message, but he quickly moved on to demand the outrageous amount.

Declaring his respect for the musician, Olajide did not hold back in making his entreaty, asking Tiwa Savage to give him $320,000 immediately so that he could buy a Richard Mille watch.
