Nancy Nnadi, popularly known as Coach Nancy, has officially withdrawn her allegations against gospel artist Mercy Chinwo.
This development follows a defamation lawsuit filed by Chinwo at the Abuja High Court through her legal representative, Pelumi Olajengbesi, several months ago.
The controversy began in March when Nnadi — who also serves as the managing director of EeZee Conceptz record label — accused Chinwo of financial misconduct amid the singer’s legal dispute with her former manager, Ezekiel ‘EeZee Tee’ Onyedikachukwu.
Nnadi had alleged that Chinwo diverted funds, a claim later refuted by documented evidence such as payment receipts and email exchanges.
As part of the resolution, Chinwo’s legal team demanded a public apology and the removal of defamatory content from Nnadi’s social media accounts.
In a recent Instagram post, Nnadi publicly announced her decision to retract the accusations.
