Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has opened up about her weight loss struggle, sharing her accomplishments and setbacks.
Eniola Badmus recently posted a before-and-after picture of her weight loss on Instagram, highlighting her incredible makeover.
She also acknowledged her persistent scepticism over the outcomes, emphasising how continuous her journey is.
Eniola Badmus talked about the numerous mental, emotional, and physical challenges that tried her will and drive.
She noted:
“I’m still in doubt……….The journey of weight loss is one of immense courage, dedication, and resilience. It’s a path filled with struggles….physical, emotional, and mental that test the limits of one’s determination. Every step, from overcoming self-doubt to staying consistent in the face of challenges, reflects incredible strength. It’s not just about shedding weight but also about gaining confidence, discipline, and a renewed sense of self. This journey is a testament to perseverance and serves as a powerful reminder that every effort, no matter how small, brings you closer to becoming the best version of yourself.”
Recall that, Eniola Badmus revealed her vulnerability and requested fans to pray for the fruit of the womb.
On January 2, 2025, the actor co-hosted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) outreach called Feed The Needy in Oshodi, Lagos, with Seyi Tinubu.
During the ceremony, Eniola Badmus spoke to the audience at Temidire Primary School in Shogunle, where she expressed her wish for children.
According to the actress, she would like her fans to keep mentioning her in their prayers. Eniola Badmus started to cry as she said that she is waiting upon God for children. In her words:
“Please continue to pray for me, always mention me, Eniola Badmus, in your prayers. I’m waiting upon the Lord for kids, I’m waiting upon the Lord for children, please pray for me and more opportunities so that I can serve you better. With your prayers and God by my side, I will continue to work together with you people and achieve a brighter and more prosperous tomorrow for many of our people. Thank you today, thank you always and thank you forever.”
Also, during the emotional speech, Eniola Badmus dedicated a minute to praying for her late father, Alhaji Badmus. She said:
“Before I drop the mic, I would like to have a one-minute prayer for my father who left seven years ago.”
