Reality star and actress Ijeoma Josephine Otabor, widely known as Phyna, was denied entry into a Lagos restaurant on Monday.

The incident reportedly occurred due to the 27-year-old wearing a dress that exposed her cleavage.

Phyna addressed the situation on her X (formerly Twitter) account, criticizing the restaurant’s actions.

“So, I went to have dinner at one CALI RESTAURANT Abi what they call the place 😂😂😂 omo they said I’m dressed indecently and I can’t enter o,” she wrote.

In a short video accompanying the X post, Phyna is seen wearing a revealing black jumpsuit.

Some of the comments under her post criticized her for wearing such an outfit, stating the owners of the restaurant had a right to set rules for their business premises.

“So another hotel the other day that brought something for the lady to cover her self…. Great one… If all these restaurants will start doing this, it will definitely be a big step to correcting this error in the society,” wrote a user.

”Why would they allow you to enter? Which responsible, well brought up girl that have good home training will go out in public place like you did? My conclusion is most of OMO OJU O RI OLA RI like you are the most often behave badly in public. What is the different btw you & WEREY?”

“What is wrong with the dressing? I think people are still stuck with that African mentality. It’s the restaurant’s loss. Hope they said it in a polite manner. If not, you sue,” one wrote.

Phyna rose to fame in 2021 after winning the seventh season of the reality show Big Brother Naija.
