A terrible fire breakout has destroyed renowned Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe‘s Lagos home.
The award-winning actress’s lavish and opulent multimillion-naira home is entirely destroyed by the fire, which also destroys priceless items.
In a statement on his Instagram page on Wednesday night, the dejected and distraught actor confirmed the awful event.
Despite the enormous loss, Aigbe expressed relief and thankfulness that no lives were lost.
“Devastated, but I thank God no life was lost. It is well,” she wrote, drawing an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues alike.

Meanwhile, it is gathered that the disaster could have been averted, worsening the emotional and financial blow to Aigbe.
Concerned and relevant public authorities and government agencies are yet to make any announcement on the cause of the incident.
