Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has secured the position of the second highest-grossing Nollywood writer for 2024, alongside Collins Okoh and Akinlabi Ishola.
Their film, Everybody Loves Jennifer, earned a remarkable ₦1.125bn at the box office, according to a report shared by Filmone on its Instagram page, @filmoneng, on Friday.
The highest-grossing writer title went to Stephen Oluboyo, whose works Everybody Loves Jennifer, Alakada Bad and Boujee, and Aburo collectively grossed ₦1.38bn.
Anthony Joseph took third place with ₦780m for Queen Lateefah, The Waiter, and Alakada Bad and Boujee.
Jack’ Enneth Opukeme secured the fourth spot with Farmer’s Bride and All’s Fair in Love, earning ₦299m.
