Rapper and actor Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has shared his views on marriage, saying he does not advise people to get married before the age of 30.

Speaking on a recent episode of The BTS Reality podcast, the award-winning artiste argued that many people are not emotionally, financially or mentally prepared for marriage before turning 30.

He added that while societal and peer pressure often push people toward early marriage, singles should not feel compelled to give in to such expectations.

Falz argued that the 20s should be spent on self-discovery, career building, and enjoying life, not on settling down.

“Getting married in your 30s is the best. Don’t let anyone pressure you into getting married before 30. By your 30s, you have gained more life experiences. In your 20s, you are still figuring yourself out. Your 20s are for learning, growing, and enjoying life,” he said.

He added that by the time people reach their 30s, they are in a better position to make life decisions.

“In your 30s, you combine all the knowledge and try to direct your life. So, it is better to wait till your 30s before getting married,” he added.

Falz, who has been private about his own relationship status over the years, is known for speaking openly about social issues, youth development, and self-growth.
