Guinness World Records has officially recognised a concert organised by Dapper Live & Artists in Lagos as the largest orchestra ever assembled for an Afrobeats performance.

The announcement was made on X alongside a video from the event, which featured Fuji icons King Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika, as well as several Afrobeats performers.

According to Guinness World Records, the record was achieved with an 85-member orchestra during a live orchestral rendition of an Afrobeats composition staged by Dapper Live & Artists at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos in December 2025.

“Led by a conductor, the concert featured a lead singer, an accompanying choir, dancers, and 85 musicians performing in coordination. The event showcased how Afrobeats and orchestral music can seamlessly blend.”

The concert, tagged ‘Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience’, was held on December 16, 2025.

Other performers included T.I Blaze, Rybeena, Bhadboi OML, Kashcoming, TML Vibez, Lasmid, Heis Cazulee, and Dwillsharmony.
