The Los Angeles residence of global pop icon Rihanna was struck by gunfire on Sunday after a woman allegedly fired multiple shots toward the property while the singer was reportedly inside, according to U.S. media reports.

The incident occurred shortly after 1:00 p.m. (2000 GMT) when a suspect opened fire from a vehicle parked across the street from the mansion in the Beverly Hills area. The Los Angeles Times reported that around 10 rounds were discharged, citing information from police authorities.

Local broadcaster KTLA said at least one bullet penetrated a wall of the home where Rihanna lives with her partner, A$AP Rocky, and their children. Reports indicate that the singer was inside the house when the shooting occurred.

Rihanna, widely regarded as one of the world’s most influential pop stars, has not yet made a public statement regarding the incident.

Police said the suspect, described as a woman in her 30s, fled the scene shortly after the shooting but was later apprehended without incident. Officers reportedly recovered a firearm during the arrest, according to KTLA.

Authorities have not yet established a motive for the attack, and investigations are ongoing.
