Harry, Meghan ‘taking time apart to pursue peace’ – Reports

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, his wife, are reportedly “taking time apart to pursue peace” following failed business deals and public backlash.

According to a report by RadarOnline, the couple are considering a trial separation to rebuild their bond.

The news platform claimed the couple are gradually worn down after the public backlash of their media tour, failed business deals and continued public disagreements with their family members.

The time apart from each other is said to be in hopes of rebuilding their bond, the report added.

Harry is said to be planning a solo trip to Africa to film a new Netflix documentary.

The prince considers the continent his “second home and a place where he feels most like himself,” said a source.

The outlet quoted insiders as saying Megan has a “new agent determined to keep her booked and busy”.

“She’s looking to establish her own brand and make millions,” said Daniela Elser, the royal expert.

“For the first time, they are truly on divergent professional paths.”

It was gathered that Harry and Markle’s $20 million deal with Spotify came to an abrupt end in June.

“They’re trying to figure out what hit them. Harry doesn’t fit in Meghan’s tacky Tinseltown world. He needs to find himself,” a source told the outlet.

“She is looking to establish her own brand and make millions. For the first time, they are truly on divergent professional paths.

“The hits keep coming for the Sussexes. The Spotify failure was a game-changer.

“The Sussexes are under tremendous financial pressure to fund their lavish California lifestyle, including their $14 million mansion and huge security costs.

“That stress coupled with their emotional issues has likely made life a living hell. Taking time apart on different continents will hopefully help them find whatever they need to move on.”

Harry and Meghan tied the knot in 2018.

In May 2019, the couple welcomed Archie, their first child. They had their second child – Lilibet in June 2021.

The couple relocated to the US after stepping down as working royals in 2020.

Earlier this year, Harry released his memoir titled ‘Spare’.
