Alexx Ekubo’s rumoured girlfriend, Fancy Acholonu has revealed why Alexx Ekubo was missing at the 2019 Oscar award.
Fancy said Ekubo was meant to be her date to the 91st Academy Awards night but had to leave to perform his civic responsibility.
The international model took to her Instagram account to make the revelation hours after the 2019 Oscar.
“Was sadly solo at the Oscars cus my handsome date had to fly to Nigeria to vote! Super proud of him for making #Nigeriadecides2019 a priority! A noble, humble, & patriotic man ❤️??❤️ #blessed ??” she wrote as the caption of a picture of herself at the Oscars.
In his reaction, Ekubo appreciated Acholonu for being a thoughtful date,while promising to attend the event with her as a nominee and winner.
Recall that the actor recently debunked claims that he is gay. He wrote on Instagram:“Learn to live and let live. If a person wants to be gay, let them be gay in peace. Personally, I’m not, have never been and will never be.
“Let’s allow people to be free and comfortable with their sexual preference. Stop the name calling and shaming.”
