Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng popularly knwon as Skales has praised Mavin Records CEO Don Jazzy profusely for his compassion and kindness.
Skales gave a moving testimony about how Don Jazzy influenced his early professional life.
Skales recalled his initial interaction with Don Jazzy, saying that following his performance at Industry Night, the rapper gave him his first N150,000 and invited him to his studio.
This gesture occurred when Skales had just signed with EME Record Label and was new to Lagos.
Skales expressed his gratitude on social media:
“First time I saw N150,000 in my life… many years ago in Maryland, Lagos, at Mohit’s house, na baba run am… I can never forget after performing at Industry Night, baba invited me to his studio and still blessed me… I just dey enter Lagos then… EME just signed me that time… God bless and keep you @DONJAZZY”
Skales’ testimony followed Don Jazzy’s N100 million donation to social media activist, Verydarkman’s NGO.
