How I almost took to fraud at a time in my career – Zlatan Ibile

Popular Nigerian indigenous rapper, Omoniyi Temidayo popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has opened up on several controversial topics about his life including his career.

The rapper in a recent live session on Instagram, took fans down memory lane, discussing issues around how his career started, how stardom has changed his life, and where he sees himself in the future.

The ‘zanku’ originator revealed how he suffered before rising to fame and how frustration almost led him into online fraud (Yahoo).

According to him, he was so broke that he almost ‘carried laptop’.

He also talked about the difficulty he experienced in getting a girlfriend at the time, as girls ran away from him because he was broke.

“I was so frustrated I almost carried laptop. Thank God Sha. Girls show me pepper. I no even get girlfriend. Na fine boys dey get girlfriend”, Zlatan said.

Zlatan also revealed that Nigerian producer Mansa Jabulani produced his first track for him for N5,000 only.

He said, “Mansa Jabulani really tried for me, he produced my first track for me for just 5k, actually it was 7k that he charged me but it took me another 2 weeks to look for the balance.

“So he just called me like, bro just forget the balance, I like the song, and he’s been supportive since then,” he added.
