Media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, opened up about some of his devastating experiences before becoming famous and successful as one of the biggest hosts in Nigeria.

The fashionista talked about how being unemployed made him depressed and nearly gave up when appearing as a guest on Channel TV’s Morning Dew. He claims that despite studying entertainment law in the UK, he was unable to find employment when he returned.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu continued, saying that in the entertainment business, he was practically forgotten. It was an extraordinarily difficult year for him mentally, and he got very disoriented.

The host of a reality television programme expressed his desire to obtain a regular job instead of pursuing his dreams of being a TV broadcaster.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu added that since he couldn’t afford to set up a chamber, it was one of the most difficult choices he had to make at the time.

Explaining how his experience had damaged his mental health, he acknowledged that he lacked the funds to open an entertainment law practice and that this is the reason many musicians and record companies have legal disputes.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu said he overcame his battle and was given a show to host. He claims that the show assisted him in getting back up on his feet.

He was also able to learn a lot of things which later shaped him as a person.
