The OBO hitmaker recently surpassed 11 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform—his highest yet—following the release of his fifth studio project, 5ive.
Reacting to the achievement, Davido highlighted that his rise in the music industry came without the backing of industry insiders or influential mentors, setting him apart from many of his peers who benefited from early support by record label executives.
He credited his accomplishments to divine grace, consistent quality music, and the steadfast loyalty of his fanbase.
