I didn’t give Falana or Falz money for pardon, VDM should be held responsible – Bobrisky

Controversial crossdresser Idris ‘Bobrisky’ Okuneye has refuted allegations of defaming renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son, rapper Falz, in response to their request for a retraction and apology regarding an alleged defamatory audio recording.

The audio, which emerged last month, allegedly featured Bobrisky stating that he had given the Falanas N10 million to secure a presidential pardon for his conviction earlier this year.

However, Bobrisky has rejected the voice in the recording as his, stating, “I, Okuneye Idris, aka Bobrisky, didn’t give Falz or his dad any money for pardon. As a matter of fact, no penny was given to them.”

This follows Falana and his son issuing a 12-hour ultimatum for an apology via a cease-and-desist letter signed by attorneys from Falana and Falana’s Chambers.

In response, Bobrisky took to Instagram, asserting that he did not make any defamatory statements and reaffirming his denial.

“The person that published an audio online should take full responsibility for what he posted in public,” he added, reiterating that anyone claiming defamation should pursue the publisher, not him.
