‘I don’t want to die’ — TG Omori cries out after failed kidney transplant

Nigerian music video director ThankGod Omori Jesam popularly known as TG Omori has expressed his distress over an unsuccessful kidney transplant.

The 29-year-old disclosed that he was admitted to the hospital for a kidney transplant on Tuesday night. He also revealed that his kidney was donated for the transplant by his only brother.

After a year of fighting kidney problems, Omori revealed that the transplant took place on August 26, 2024.

However, the video director disclosed on Wednesday in a series of X postings that the kidney transplant he received at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos was unsuccessful.

According to the famous cinematographer, he visited the theatre three times for the transplant.

Omori, who has worked with notable artistes like Olamide, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, cried out, “I don’t want to die”. He also asked his fans to pray for him.

“One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at st Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me. Went into this theater 3 times, wasn’t just destined to die today,” he wrote.
