Black Coffee, the South African artist, expressed disappointment at his estranged wife, Enhle Mbali, for what he perceived as her “ungrateful” response to the expensive car he purchased for her during their marriage.
During a recent interview with Kaya 959, the Grammy-winning DJ shared that, following the presentation of the gift to his wife, the reaction he received was not what he had anticipated.
He expressed that the incident made him feel like his efforts were neither valued nor appreciated.
“The response wasn’t what I expected; she wasn’t excited. I expected her to even cry, but she was just like; ‘Oh, nice, thank you.’ And it sat with me heavily for a long time as someone who was not appreciating,” he said
Certainly, Black Coffee and Mbali’s marriage came to an end in 2019 following her accusations of infidelity and abuse against the record producer.
During their marriage, the ‘We Dance Again’ DJ fathered two children with other women.
