Popular Hollywood actor Denzel Washington, recently spoke up about his experiences in the film industry.

Denzel Washington said he hasn’t tried out for a part in almost 40 years in an interview with BBC1Xtra.

“I can’t remember the last time I went through the audition process,” he acknowledged.

“It’s been about 40 years for that [love]. I haven’t auditioned for a movie in about 40 years. I won an Academy Award in 1989. I’m sure no one has asked me to audition since then,” he said.

When asked if he misses the audition process, Denzel Washington responded with a definitive “No.”
