Actor Kunle Omisore has spoken about his failed marriage, describing divorce as a deeply painful experience that only God can heal.

In an interview with African A-List, Omisore opened up about fatherhood, loneliness, relationships, betrayal and surviving a gunshot attack.

Reflecting on his divorce, the actor said the pain still lingers despite having moved on and no longer holding onto the experience.

“It’s difficult; it’s only God who can heal a divorcee. I am not holding on to the hurt; it’s just going to be a part of you. You cannot live out of it,” he said.

The actor also spoke about the loneliness he experiences at home, stating that having women around is different from having a wife.

“You’ll feel lonely in the house; it’s not like you don’t have a woman who can satisfy you, but that is different from having a wife,” he continued.

Omisore revealed that there are times he feels troubled and has no one to confide in.

He said he often parks his car for a while before getting home so his children would not notice that anything is wrong.

“There are times when you know that when you’re troubled, someone would calm you down. Instead, I will get home, I will park outside for a while, and wind down, so those children wouldn’t know something is wrong with me,” he added.

He, however, said he does not consider his marriage a failure because it produced “glorious children.”

“I didn’t suffer a failed marriage because glorious children came from it,” he continued.

Looking ahead, the actor said he plans to relocate to Europe in the next 10 years to live a quiet life and raise his children “in the way of the Lord.”

“In the next ten years, I want to go back to Europe, live a quiet life and raise my children in the way of the Lord,” he added.
