I regret opening up about my sexuality –Singer Billie Eilish

The multi-Grammy-winning American singer Billie Eilish expressed regret for the public disclosure of her sexuality and previous relationships.

Billie Eilish expressed her need for privacy in a recent interview with Vogue Magazine, and she promised to keep her sexuality and future relationships private.

“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life… And I hope that they never will again. And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again. And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again, she stated.

This sentiment marks a shift from her previous interview with Rolling Stone, where she openly discussed her attraction to women.

Recall that few months ago, Billie Eilish opens up about her sexuality.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, the 22-year-old disclosed that she has always been drawn to women. She said that she’s prepared to accept it wholeheartedly.

“I have been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just did not understand — until, last year, I realised I wanted my face in a vagina,” she said.

Eilish said it took her time to accept this aspect of herself and criticised the pressure from the internet to disclose one’s sexuality.

She added that it is important to allow individuals to define their identity at their own pace.

“I was never planning on talking about my sexuality ever, in a million years,” she added.

“I have known people that do not know their sexuality, or feel comfortable with it, until they are in their forties, fifties, sixties. It takes a while to find yourself, and I think it is really unfair, the way that the internet bullies you into talking about who you are and what you are.”
