Nigerian singer Tems has shared details regarding her experience working with American superstar Beyoncé on her 2022 album “Renaissance.”
Tems talked about her initial feelings of amazement and enthusiasm upon learning about the chance in an interview with the New York Times.
Tems explained to Culture Reporter Reggie Ugwu that she received a message from her team that needed to be addressed right now.
“My team just messaged me like, ‘Yo, first of all, I have to send you something to sign.’ I was losing my mind. Like, What?!” she said.
The singer clarified that she needed to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in order to proceed with the message.
Tems said that she was asked to Los Angeles to work with someone in the studio after she signed the NDA.
The song “Move,” which is featured on Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album “Renaissance,” is the product of their collaboration.
Tems has collaborated with a number of well-known musicians in addition to Beyonce, including as Drake, Rihanna, and Future.
She was notably featured on Future’s Grammy-winning song “Wait For U,” which also features Drake.

Tems was present at this year’s annual Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch which took place On 4th February, 2023.
