I was a nobody sitting at home in 2017 – Broda Shaggi
Known by many of his fans as ‘fine boy agbero ’, Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, is indeed one of the most influential social media comedians at the moment.
The University of Lagos graduate, recently took to his Instagram page to wish popular rapper, Zlatan a happy birthday.
In his message to Zlatan, Shaggi recounted how he met the entertainer, adding that his life changed after he met the ‘Bolanle’ crooner.
According to Shaggi who plays the role of a local ‘agbero’: “I was a nobody sitting at home in early December 2017. I was walking on the road when I saw you greeting a friend, I asked for a picture and you came down from the car to take this Picture with me. Na that week my first skit Blow .Happened like a miracle:
“One thing that can never fade off from a real hustler who Is definitely going places is humility. Since then you haven’t changed at all and that’s why I love you bro. I have just few friends and this hardworking guy is one of them. I love you bro. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a friend who worth my all”.
Broda Shaggi’s frequent collaborator, Sophia Ajireoghene a.k.a Aunty Shaggi had revealed in an interview that she does not have plans to stop working with him.
“I don’t think Broda Shaggi takes all the shine. I have my own time to showcase and he has his time too. We do different things.Broda Shaggi is highly talented and I respect him for that. I don’t plan to stop working with Broda Shaggi anytime soon because I enjoy every bit of what we do together. The feedback we get from people is amazing and I am thankful to God for the opportunity. But what I am doing now doesn’t stop me from doing other things and I plan to do other things”
