Big Brother Naija season nine housemate “No Loose Guard” Rhuthee has shared her experiences and struggles as a teenage mother.
During a conversation with her roommate Mayor Frosh on Wednesday, she revealed that she used to feel embarrassed about being a teenage parent.
The single mother claims that although she had trouble telling people she was a mother, Rhuthee eventually came to the conclusion that her kid was the “best thing” that had ever happened to her.
The Big Brother Naija housemate, Rhuthee said amid tears;
“How do I tell people I have a child? I can’t tell people. I never used to tell people I have a child.
“It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell.
“As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me.”
In a different story, BBNaija contestants Toby Forge and Kassia sparked public interest as Toby openly stated his feelings for Kassia, who is married to Kellyrae.
Despite Kassia’s decision to conceal her marital status, Toby has already shown his desire to her in just two days since the premiere of Season 9 of BBNaija.
Toby expressed interest in Kassia and enquired about ways to win her over during a talk.
After being persuaded to appear on the show by her spouse, Kassia revealed that her previous relationships had prevented her from falling in love easily.
While Toby remains optimistic about their potential as a couple, Kassia believes it may be too late for any romantic relationship between them.
