Former Big Brother Naija participant Leo Dasilva has shared how he plans to handle his own mortality with his children.
When his children reach a particular level of comprehension, Leo Dasilva says he plans to prepare them for his ultimate death.
He stated, “As soon as my kids get to a certain level of understanding, I will start preparing them for my death.”
Recall that,Leo Dasilva revealed an evolving story of how the death of his mother altered his perspective on life.
He highlighted the value of experiencing life to the fullest and finding happiness in the here and now.
After his mother passed away, Leo said he learnt that everyone will eventually go on and figure out how to live without him.
He emphasised the value of savouring life while it is still enjoyable rather than putting one’s pleasure on the line for other people.
Leo Dasilva wrote on X:
“My mums death really changed a lot about how I view the world.
Everyone will live their lives to the fullest eventually and find a way to survive when you’re gone.
You must enjoy your life while you still can and not sacrifice every part of you. It can never be fully appreciated”.
In a different story, Leo DaSilva shed light on the possibly harmful implications of the term “Be a man”.
He claims that this statement is frequently used to suppress males and disregard their welfare.
Leo DaSilva claimed in a recent social media post that this term can lead to toxic behaviour, forcing men to repress their feelings and put social expectations ahead of their mental health.
Leo claimed that by employing this expression, society upholds the notion that men should disregard their happiness and well-being in order to adhere to traditional masculine standards.
