Nigerian afrobeats artist and rapper Ice Prince has come under fire from his baby mother, Bimbo Babatunde, also known as Abi, for alleged parental negligence that has now sent their son to the hospital.
Abi stated in a string of tirades on her Instagram page that she had no choice but to start the year with turmoil. She said that after she acted as Ice Prince’s surety in a police case, their relationship soured and she was eventually placed on detention after he abandoned her and gaslighted her.
The single mother claimed that after the incident, her rent went up by 100%, and since their son lives with her, she begged Ice Prince to pay half of the difference. She disagreed with his suggestion that Jamal, the boy, be relocated to his family’s home in Jos.
Jamal, who spent the holidays with his father, returned to school without his necessities, food, or clean clothes, according to Abi.
Additionally, she said that while their son was in his father’s custody, she discovered x-rated names on his phone.
She called him out, claiming that he had neglected his son financially, emotionally, and physically, resulting in his hospitalisation.
