In the face of economic challenges within the country, Seyi Law, the Nigerian actor and comedian, also known as Oluwaseyitan Aletile, has expressed his commitment to vote for President Bola Tinubu should a new election be held tomorrow.

Drawing a parallel, he compared the present economic challenges in Nigeria to the biblical journey of the Israelites through the wilderness. He emphasized his preference for enduring difficulties with a leader like Moses on the path to Canaan, as opposed to enjoying temporary pleasures in Egyptian slavery, especially if it comes at the cost of his children’s future.

Through his X handle, Seyilaw recently shared:  “while a lot of Nigerians kill the optimism of others with hate and urge for immediate gratification, it is sad that our government agencies are not communicating government agendas, efforts, and actions effectively”.

He urged Nigerians to seek solutions from their respective state governments instead of relying solely on the Federal Government for “everything.”

The comedian said “it is easy for any government at the centre to please the multitude by reverting back to full subsidy on fuel and exchange rates, but I would rather we reset, rebuild, and sustain our future than live on a better now by borrowing our future”.

Responding to critics questioning his unwavering support for Tinubu’s administration amid the severe economic challenges, Seyi Law stated : “if another election was held tomorrow, I would still vote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
