Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has sent a strong warning to individuals impersonating her on social media, particularly on TikTok, and has threatened to take legal action against them.
The actress disclosed that a lady has been posing as her on TikTok and defrauding her fans by collecting money from them.
She warned that if the woman is caught, she will pursue all legal means to ensure she is jailed, regardless of any public reaction.
Speaking in a video broadcast, Dikeh said, “I know my impersonator is a girl because we have been trailing you, the police are on you.
“To the girl who is impersonating me on TikTok, collecting money from people, scamming people and also scamming me because you are taking my contents and posting on your TikTok page not as a fanpage, but posing to be me.
“I just want to tell you that when I catch you, nobody is going to save you. Only Jesus will save you. Because I’m not the kind of person that social media would make me back down. You will definitely go to jail.”
