Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon claims that if he hadn’t decided to pursue acting, he would have followed a career as a priest.

Deyemi Okanlawon revealed in a recent interview with Pulse that his desire to engage an audience finally prompted him to pursue acting as a career.

“I don’t think I can call it a career path, it would have been more of a calling. I think I would have been a pastor [if I wasn’t an actor],” he said.

He made it clear that he is against domestic violence, despite claims to the contrary stemming from some of the parts he has played in films.

The actor claimed that the most absurd thing people have ever said about him is that he is expensive to hire.

He however, clarified that it’s not a rumor.

Recall that actor Deyemi Okanlawon welcomed his third child with his wife last month.

The elated actor took to his Instagram page, where he posted an adorable clip capturing the emotional moment of a video call with his wife shortly after she gave birth.

Deyemi Okanlawon thanked his wife for bearing their priceless gifts and called her the strongest woman alive. He described his wife as the love of his life.

The actor conveyed his love and appreciation. In the video, Deyemi was visibly moved and filled with joy as he welcomed his newborn son.

“To the love of my life, the strongest woman alive, thank you so so much for birthing all our most precious gifts. I love you Damilover! Welcome son… you’re about to have the best life with the best dada! 🥰🥰🥰 #AllsFairInLove,”the actor wrote.
