If you start hating on Wizkid, you’ll lose – Odumodoblvck

Rapper Odumodublvck has issued a warning to Nigerian musicians about the risk of “hating” Grammy-winning superstar Wizkid.

In a recent interview, the “Wotowoto Seasoning” singer stated that disliking Wizkid is self-defeating, while speaking with content producer Elsie in Toronto, Canada.

According to him, he wouldn’t take offence if Wizkid was on his album and he chose not to share it on social media.

“There some artists that when you release music with them, they look as if they are doing you a favour.

“I’ve never released music and asked the artist that I featured to post it. I don’t care if you promote it. You’ve done the most important thing by giving me a verse,” he said.

“If Wizkid gives me a verse and my album comes and he doesn’t post about it, I will not be angry. If you start hating on Wizkid Machala, you lose.”

In a different story, Odumodublvck has expressed respect for singer Rema.

Presenting the child as a wise man, Odumodublvck said he gave him counsel that not even his parents could have provided.

He said that even though Rema is six years younger than him, he always pays close attention to what the singer has to say.

The rapper claimed that Rema showed him that becoming a legend doesn’t require a certain age.

The rapper said Rema proved to him that attaining legendary status isn’t by age.

On his X handle, Odumodublvck wrote:

“I senior Rema with six years but when him dey talk I dey pay full attention. E get many thing wey him tell me wey I never hear anybody tell me. Not even my father and mother.

“And trust me, I don hear many advice. I repeat OG no be by age.”
