Nigerian musician Tekno has responded to health-related rumours that have been going around after it was reported that he collapsed on stage in South Africa.
An online video had appeared that captured the moment paramedics revived a boy who had passed out. After then, rumours started to spread that Tekno, the man in the video, had passed out on stage.
Tekno used his Instagram profile to address the growing doubts and suspicions among his followers, providing clarification.
He reassured everyone that he was not in South Africa as the stories claimed, and that he was in good health.
Sharing some photos of himself, he wrote:
“Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you guys. Love you.”
