Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, also known as Blaqbonez, has responded to recent questions about his age.

In a recent interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Blaqbonez clarified the situation.
He disclosed that he is now 30 years old, debunking allegations that he was over 40. When asked about the speculation, he replied:
“I am not close to 40. I am 30. But I guess that’s close to 40 than closer to zero,” he said.
In another news, Blaqbonez opens up on how his dad abandoned him at birth.
In a chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Blaqbonez disclosed that his dad abandoned him at birth. He explained that as a result, he wasn’t raised by his father.
“My Dad kind of dipped when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad,” he shared.
During the interview, Blaqbonez also declared himself “the best rapper in Africa.” He argued that no African rapper has a better discography than him. He boasted:
“I still think I am the best rapper ever in Africa. No one has a better discography than me.”
