The Nigerian comedian Mr Macaroni claims he has nothing to do with D’banj and Don Jazzy’s reconciliation.
After a disagreement, D’banj and Don Jazzy parted ways in 2012, ending their joint venture, Mo Hits Records, which was founded in 2006.
Following what seems to be a reunion on social media, both music celebrities shocked fans on May 2.
D’banj urged Don Jazzy to forgive him for previous wrongs and referred to him as his “brother for life” on Instagram.
A 2013 tweet where the comedian Mr Macaroni hinted at the reunion resurfaced.
In a post on Friday, Mr Macaroni expressed his joy at the reunion and clarified that he is not behind the reconciliation.
“Well, I did not do any reconciliation because they have been cool,” he wrote.
“But I am so glad I can come back to this tweet and smile because Jah knows I have always loved these two with all my heart!”

In a different story, Mr Macaroni has explained why he quit making political commentary in Nigeria.
Mr. Macaroni, whose real name is Adebowale Adedayo, rose to national attention in October 2020 as a result of his participation in the #EndSARS protest against police brutality.
He spoke up during the 2023 election as well, and he once claimed that threats against him and his family were made because of his political engagement.
