India actor Daniel Balaji dies of heart attack

Tamil actor Daniel Balaji, recognized for his roles in films such as Kaakha Kaakha, tragically passed away on Friday, from a heart attack at the age of 48.

According to reports, Daniel was hospitalized after experiencing intense chest pain. He was admitted to a hospital in Chennai’s Kottivakam, where he unfortunately passed away due to a heart attack.

“Daniel’s sudden passing away is shocking. The agony of death at a young age is distressing,” expressed actor-politician Kamal Haasan as he offered his condolences to the grieving family and friends.

“Shocking to hear that #DanielBalaji is no more! A great actor gone too soon! My heart goes out to his family and friends,” actress Keerthy Suresh said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’.

Daniel made his debut in the well-known Tamil television serial “Chithi,” portraying the character ‘Daniel,’ which eventually became a part of his real name, Balaji.

He garnered praise for his remarkable performances in several films, including top star Vijay’s ‘Bigil’ and ‘Bhairava,’ Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vettaiyadu Vilayadu,’ and Suriya starrer ‘Kaakha Kaakha.’
