Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has praised his ex-wife Ireti, describing her as a “first-class mother.”
In a recent interview with Olumide Iyanda, publisher of QEDNG, he characterised her as an extraordinary mother, giving excellent care for their kid.
Patrick Doyle made it clear that, in the wake of their divorce, he has no ill will towards Ireti.
He praised Ireti’s exceptional parenting skills and her commitment to their child.
He said:
“Ireti is a first class mother and provider for her children. She is taking good care of my daughter. How can I wish her ill? As far as mothers go, they don’t come any better. She provides 360 mothering care.”
Patrick also touched on the importance of maintaining a stable and happy home, emphasizing that it is the responsibility of the head of the house to ensure this.
“As a man, it is my duty to say you don’t look happy. Responsibility for the stability of the home is that of the head of the home. So that was a bid to ease whatever the tensions were at the time,” he said.
In January 2023, the gifted actress Ireti,57, announced her divorce from Patrick, whom she married in 2004.
The couple has five children together.
They have however maintained their professional relationship despite their split, working together on the 2023 thriller “The Black Book.”
Patrick got married to Olufunmilayo, his new wife, in 2022. However, he made their union public in March 2023.
